Kawari: Machine Translated is another project I've been working alongside CHIPS.
It's, as it sounds, a machine translation of the Kawari documentation. I always try my best to make an accurate translation,
but going off of just what the machine says, Japanese dictionaries, and my understanding of Ukagaka culture of the time.
It's not nearly as good as a human would be able to do, and never will be. I'm OK with this,
because while my Japanese isn't good enough to do a proper translation (yet),
it's still providing a resource. However, I keep in mind, it's always going to be a bit distorted and stilted.
As of writing, I have multiple sections done and I just finished 10 sections of the "User's Manual". One of the most important pages there.
It's, honestly, often tedious and a bit mind-numbing. Reading machine translated grammar and editing its mistakes
over and over isn't something I'd do if not for a labor of love.
I try to keep most of the examples and such intact. I remember there's a spelling error in the English text somewhere, originally written by
whoever wrote that page. But if there's an error in the HTML (multiple pages had entire sections as links to nowhere) I try my best to fix it.
